I've always wanted one to mess around with in Ableton Live. As long as it works and it's compatible with Windows 7 and is... cheap :P
Thanks.

I have a Micro KORG that functions as one. I'm using it though.

Picked up a used Alesis QS8 for $300 a few months ago, and it's been great. It's a tank, but it retailed for $3000+ 15 years ago and it's actually quite powerful. I wanted something simple with MIDI capabilities, but it was definitely the way to go with properly weighted keys, a billion assignable voicings, and a good user community. Not sure if that qualifies as "cheap", though.
You should be able to pick up one of the old M-Audi MIDI keyboard for >$50

Very cool! I have access to my school's keyboard. I forget exactly what it was but it's a fancy one.

Definitely Craigslist. Do it, computer instruments are so fun.
